OOC PREFERENCES:
CONTACT METHOD: PM or Plurk
THREAD-JACKING: Thread-jacking is totally fine with me!
FOURTH WALLING / CANON PUNCTURE: Any fourth-walling or canon puncture is also fine by me. Will would probably be amused by the book series, honestly.
BACKTAGGING: Yeah, bring 'em in as late as you want. If we hit a plot choke-point, I may ask for a planned resolution so everyone involved can continue elsewhere, but I definitely don't mind taking extra time.
AVOIDED TOPICS: Nothing I can think of right now. Will add if anything pops up.
PREFERRED GENDER PRONOUN: Anything's fine!

IC CHARACTERISTICS:
CURRENT CANON POINT: End of the series- season 3, episode 13. The only thing he missed was the post-credits scene.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:Will is a fairly unassuming figure, standing at 5'11" and seeming to be in his early 40s. He wears rumpled layers of plaid- functional and comfortable, but not particularly stylish. His brown hair is always a little overly-curly and in need of a haircut. He does, however, keep it brushed back out of his eyes, which also shows off the 4-inch horizontal scar he has on the right side of his forehead. He also now has a 1-inch scar on his right cheek. Will keeps himself clean, but otherwise doesn't pay much attention to bath scents. He has a ring that he always wears on the ring finger of his left hand.
-As of October 2023, Will also has a wolf form, which he can change into at any time. As a wolf, he looks like a standard American grey wolf. He has grey, white, and brown markings. During the summer months, he looks lean, and during the winter months, he gets extremely fluffy. He usually still wears his ring here too, just on a silver chain instead of on the finger.

DEMEANOR: Will gives off the impression of a lost puppy dog, most of the time. He avoids eye contact and usually seems mildly anxious. However, on those rare occasions he actually looks at the people he's talking to, his eyes are piercing and steady. It tends to make a lot of people uncomfortable. Will speaks in a very deliberate manner, as if he's constantly debating which words should actually come out of his mouth.
-As a wolf, Will becomes far more expressive. Losing the use of words seems to make him almost easier to understand. He uses many different vocalizations, wags his tail a lot, and will do his best to make it clear what he thinks about any given subject. He's also far more prone to a playful attitude.

ABILITIES: Will has the talent (or disorder, depending on who you ask) to understand people's feelings on a deep, intuitive level. It's so ingrained that he sometimes feels their feelings. If he pushes it, he can envision himself in someone else's shoes and guess their actions and motivations.
-His lycanthrope abilities also include better general senses (hearing and smell, especially), as well as greater strength and agility. However, he's still somewhat limited here, due to his inmate status.

MEDICAL INFORMATION: Will has some sleeping issues. He also might have some tissue scarring or other lingering brain issues due to antibody encephalitis that occurred about 4 years ago and went untreated for far too long.

CABIN INFORMATION: His cabin looks similar to his house in Wolf Trap, Virginia. It'll be half the size or smaller as that big front room, but the fireplace and many blankets and ratty furniture remains. The door is a dark brown farmhouse-style door with a couple of frosted glass windows.

OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: It's going to be difficult to offend Will, but cruelty to animals would probably do it.

IC PERMISSIONS:
MENTAL: As of May 8th, 2023, Will has Barge-granted immunity to both Avalon's and Lestat's abilities for psychic contact and control. I am very up for others to mess with him! However, contact me first? Because if Will gets wind of it early, he'll try to head it off at the pass. He's fairly sensitive to being mentally messed-with.
MIMICRY: Sure thing.
VIOLENCE: Oh, yes. Big go on violence.
MAGIC: Definitely!
DEBATE: Sure! Whether Will engages in it depends on the situation, but he's good with this.
OTHER / NOTES:I am honestly really good with whatever crazy way you might want to take a plot. I do want to warn that there are a LOT of potentially triggery things in Hannibal that might come up, including: medical gaslighting, sexual and sibling abuse, along with all the expected ones like cannibalism, drugs, and assault. I am going to try my best to not step into anyone's triggers. However, if I am getting near anything you're even mildly uncomfortable about, please let me know. I'm always happy to edit comments or steer a convo clear of something.
