She hugs him first, then perches with her legs folded up in front of her chest, elbows resting
on her knees. Hjerte affectionately twines a lock of Ulla's hair around one
of his tentacles as she speaks.
"Yes. I wanted to tell you that I did more research after we talked about
autism, and it feels right. I told Taylor. And it also... helped, a little,
in the aftermath of the last breach. In asking for what I needed."
The hug back is easy for Will, in a way no one who knew him back home would've believed. He gives Hjerte a smile as he pulls back, too. He doesn't close the door to the office- only because he and Malcolm are the only ones in, at the moment.
"It's often underplayed, how important it is to be able to identify mental conditions. There are so many simple solutions when you can recognize the problems for what they are," he replies, sitting back down in his chair. "I imagine Taylor was supportive?"
Because they truly do seem like the best for each other.
"Of course. But she asked me whether there's anything she should do, even
though she and Warren are the only people who are never tiring.
Well, Warren's often irritating, but that's different." He likes to
cheerfully annoy her for her own good, but he doesn't exhaust her. "I told
her she doesn't need to change anything, I just wanted her to know."
She purses her lips. "After the breach, Taylor wasn't the problem. Four
years of breaches, and this was the first that gave me a parent. ...He
wants to adopt me."

She's on foot today, in an ivy-green dress.

"No, not too busy. And I could use a break, anyway. How've you been? Everything been settling down for you?"
It better have, he thinks.

So that's been something to wrestle with.
