That does make sense. And it makes sense that it...makes you uncomfortable, too. It clashes with my idea that no one I care about should get hurt, that's all.

...and yes, I'm aware that's unrealistic. Especially here. But I still feel how I feel about it.

[ Someone has been shot too many times to not be a bit skeptical about it. But hey, Malcolm does blow things out of proportion sometimes...usually emotions, though.... ]

[ Will sighs a bit, but he's smiling to himself as he does. She could've told him it was future tech and he'd have believed it. But she didn't. ]

You don't need to walk wounded right now, you know. No emergencies going on, for once. But I imagine staying put is tough for you.

I'm glad you're relatively okay.

Port's probably almost over, anyway.

I'm hanging out on the balcony, taking in the sights. That's... nice too, I guess.

[On the Barge, it wouldn't have been something she paid much mind to, and it wouldn't have been before the Barge, either. Now, though, she's conditioned to appreciate almost anything that isn't their lovely, disorienting trashboat.]
