"And we can talk about it. ...If you ever want to talk about it," Malcolm offers. He glances around. He doesn't hear more gunshots. He looks up at Will, then at Edwin, then back at Will. "We could make tea now," he suggests, reaching a hand out to Will for help up. He looks at Edwin. "Want to come over for tea and dogs?"

He offers Will a small smile, more comfortable with him than a lot of people on board, between Malcolm-based exposure and Dogs.

"I read on the floor with King."

At Malcolm's suggestion, he brightens. "Yes. Yes, please. Though. I should change my shirt probably."

He could just erase the blood, golden though it is. Blink it out of existence. But that feels strangely like a dismissal of someone else's pain.
