[Malcolm sounds almost breathless as he comes on the line, a broad, excited smile on his face.]

Will, do you want to go sailing? Like. Not at the marina with Muffy and Binxter or anything, but on a real Victorian sailing vessel on the high seas! My friend Francis was a sea captain in his world and he said he'd take me for a trip on his ship in the Enclosure and he said I could bring someone if I want.

[ Since it's video, Malcolm will see Will stifle a chuckle when the words "Muffy and Binxter" comes up. But Malcolm looks so excited, that Will's smiling rather than smirking by the end of the offer. ]

I haven't been on a real boat in ages, much less a Victorian sailing vessel. Count me in.

I'm so excited! [Exclaimed a little too loud, considering the microphone is plenty close enough to hear him perfectly well.] Francis said to bring a warm coat. Maybe we should bring a blanket too. I'll bring a blanket; I have a blanket. Francis said to meet him outside the Enclosure after the lunch shift.

Sounds like a plan. I'll make sure to wear something warm- it's been a while since we've had to be concerned about weather, hasn't it?

[ He's starting to pick up on Malcolm's excitement, practically grinning himself. ]

I just realized people always make it pleasant in the Enclosure. I liked your beach. Snowy and uninviting.

[ Will smiles, looking down as if shy. ]

That was honestly far more comfortable for me. I'm not used to tropical places...or places I've been invited either, I suppose. Touristy environments.

In the Enclosure, that sort of place feels doubly fake. Probably the lack of people.

[Malcolm grins again, this time because he made Will smile.]

We should walk in New York sleet some time. Or visit the Atlantic ocean in the winter.

Might be nice. Hey, I might even like New York if all the people are taken out of it.

[ He smirks at the camera- he knows that's Malcolm's home. ]

[Malcolm laughs, then gives him a schemey look.]

I'm going to take you to a crime scene there. It's my turn next!

Well, now we're talking.

[ Will's grin breaks into a chuckle. ]

That definitely jumps it up a few notches.

Maybe people won't show up all over it this time. Not that I don't enjoy talking crimes, but... maybe I don't want to share it with them every time.

It was more popular than I expected. Which...maybe we should invite some other people to do that again. [ He suddenly laughs, at the both of them. ] But I think we both agree, some crime scenes should be just for the two of us.

...and Shaw, I suppose. Feels like we've got a Victorian-era chaperone, a bit.

Well, it’s her responsibility to make sure I don’t break you. [He’s joking, but then he looks almost coy.] i actually really wanted to kiss you in the crime lab, but it didn’t seem appropriate. Not because it was a crime lab; that was the best gift. It was just… all the audience.

[ His smile indicates he felt completely the same way. ]

And I think she's trying to make sure I don't break you, too. I can't blame her for being cautious, when we're dancing around the topic of things I might be sensitive to.
