Hey, Will. Sameen got herself into some trouble and asked me to make sure you were all right until she's back on her feet. So if you need anything, you can let me know.

[He's not intentionally trying to be vague, just tactful?]

Honestly, I had been meaning to ask if you wanted to do a little spelunking, anyway - I hope you can believe me. I like spending time with you.

[ It doesn't take a lot of thinking to figure out what had happened. He's frowning a bit- right up until that last bit. That makes him snort in amusement. ]

I believe you, Steve. That's...really, that's not a problem.

All right, let's head out for a bit, if there's nothing else to be done for Shaw. Probably better to have something to distract us than just sitting around waiting for her to come back to life, anyway. Let's not go too deep, though, if you're all right with that.

[ He doesn't want to meet the same fate as Sheehan and Shaw. ]

Meet you on the deck?

A man after my own heart. Distraction sounds good. And yeah - B and I found some pretty amazing crystals, not too far in, if you wanna see.

The deck is perfect. I'll meet you there.

[He'll even show up with a backpack full of supplies - like snacks and a first-aid kit, just in case.]

[ Will has his own pack, but he hadn't thought of snacks. He'll be very pleased about that one. He nods at Steve when he sees him. ]

Been a rough couple of days for people I like. At least Shaw will probably be fine when she's back up.

[Steve gets hungry a lot. And while he can certainly go without food for a long time, it's not pleasant. So, he figures whether they're out for a little while or something happens (though hopefully it won't), it's best to have some food with them.

He offers Will a rueful smile and heads toward the gangplank.] She will be. She's tough. Whatever got her must've caught them by surprise.

We'll be careful.

[He's not normally a careful guy, but he doesn't want to get someone else hurt, of course.]
